WEDDING OF JANICE & JAMES RAFFLE, 23.10.2004
At very short notice Barry agreed to perform at the ceremony
which is quite extraordinary as he had to travel almost 450 miles from Tayside
to Hampshire! It shows the measure of the man as he rearranged his calendar to
carry out what was for us a lifeline to making the day a success.
Throughout the day Barry was very amenable in offering advice
and also being agreeable to all our whims and foibles. Barry offered his
services generously and performed on no less than 5 separate occasions during
the day and even then was willing to continue if required.
The whole day was a great success and was carried out by
Professional people doing their job properly, Barry is Placed at the Pinnacle of
this group and we wish him a prosperous and bright future in his field of
expertise, PIPING!

and I already miss the relaxed atmosphere of
Scotland.

Hi Barry,
Please pass on our most grateful thanks for your wonderful playing at our
wedding on Saturday.
It was absolutely fantastic and all the guests commented on the fabulous playing
and our English friends particularly enjoyed it. It really got the service off
to a great start and it was very special for me. I love Highland Cathedral and
you and the band played it exceptionally. It was also special for Elizabeth to
have her school pipe band there.

We are home at last after a wonderful drive around Scotland and back down through England. Thank you so much for making the day so special.
