Previous Experience
I have played with various bands ranging from Novice Juvenile
up to grade
2. Up until last year I competed at the majority of the Scottish Highland games,
winning many prizes. Now I concentrate on teaching the pipes
to youngsters. I teach the Bagpipes at Madras College, St Andrews and also
give private lessons. Contact me if you
are interested in learning how to play the bagpipes.

I have also played at many weddings, funerals, parties,
Burns suppers, Scottish nights and even birthday
party surprises.
Some more of my experiences include playing
with the young Fife Road show under the management of Sheena Wellington (Famous
Scottish folk singer and also was Head of the Fife Council Arts Department);
playing at Falkland Palace and many other similar places including slots
on Wave 102 radio and as mentioned before the Edinburgh Military Tattoo.
Also I have recently played alongside Billy Anderson ( a local, well known accordionist
and DJ ).
I also regularly take part in charity events
including the Marie Currie charity parade in Edinburgh alongside nine hundred
and ninety nine other
pipers and drummers from all over the world; playing also at the officer's mess
in RAF Leuchars for visiting Dignitaries (including Senator Mitchell).
Should your requirements be a mini or full
Pipe Band, I can organise this, subject to sufficient notice and availability.
